Celebrating International Women's Day at Right at Home Ireland

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women - while also marking a call to action for accelerating gender balance. The first International Women's Day occurred in 1911, supported by over one million people. Today, International Women’s Day belongs to all groups collectively everywhere.

This year, Right at Home offices across Ireland invited all staff – both office and care staff – to join us to celebrate the role of women in our organisation and the contribution they make to the company and to the lives of our clients.

We were very proud to host our very first #InternationalWomensDay event at Right at Home offices across the country. Care staff and office staff were invited to get together for lunch and we had a great turn out from staff in all of our offices in Dublin north and south, Cork, Galway, Kildare and Wicklow.
